Everything seemed to be shifting in these few short minutes. Vienna had started out this encounter positive that Noah was ending things, but instead she was faced with a different Noah than she had seen before. A more tender and open Noah, someone who seemed like he was almost willing to let her get behind walls he had built up, walls she only recognized because she had them as well. Hers had begun to crumble months ago though, but it seemed they were doing a full on Jericho impression now.
Crying was a weakness she hadn't allowed herself to show around another person in a very long time. Not since the night she had lost Thomas. When Noah brought his hand up to her cheek and wiped away her tears, she closed her eyes tightly and just savored the comfort, letting herself feel weak for only a moment.
His words were a comfort Vienna hadn't even been aware she had needed. Or maybe she knew she needed to hear them, but didn't want to admit a weakness like that. "Good," she murmured as his lips pressed to her cheek. "I want that too," her eyes were still closed as she sighed softly, wondering for only a moment if she was dreaming this all up. No, she couldn't be, Noah felt solid and real in her arms. This could all end at some point, she could lose him like she lost Thomas, but for the first time in forever she was willing to risk it. Opening her eyes to meet his, a wicked little smile played on her lips as she asked. "Could I call you my boy toy?" She was teasing, but for the first time since everything went down with his Ex, she felt like they were normal again - that things had been righted.
Her expression went serious after a moment and her hands stilled in their movement over his back. "Noah, you know I'm not them, right?" Vienna paused. "I'm not going to do whatever they did to hurt you."
