With a little smirk, Caitie nodded her head and let the smirk turn into a smug smile. "Old habits die hard. I've been doing this since, like... a long time ago," she finally settled on when an actual time frame eluded her. She snickered. "Sometimes I sing louder just to tick them off, though. Like the other morning when I was singing Genie in a Bottle? I think I sang three times as loud just for funsies. And you know how my voice gets when I sing that loud on purpose." She stopped caring how she sounded, and started doing things just to be ridiculous, just to sound silly.
Hurrying over to Maddie's side to help her set everything out, she tossed the brush down onto the bed and worked on pouring the coffee into their cups. "I'm even gonna mix your coffee, because I'm the best roomie ever," she looked at the coffee mixings and smiled, rubbing her arms to chase away the creepy-crawlies that had been plaguing her since yesterday. "Obviously, only the best roomies know the other's coffee of choice."
Caitie nodded vehemently and chuckled. "We're totally good samartians and stuff. Giving them stuff to do because they'd all be sitting there bored if they had to cook the same stuff over and over again." At least that was her story, and she was sticking to it.
After taking a seat on her bed--apparently her foray into getting water splash on her mattress hadn't taught her anything about food-in-the-bedroom etiquette--she broke off a piece of her donut and dunked it into her coffee, which she'd also already mixed. "I like 'em too!" she nodded her head yes. "I'm so freaking glad we're not in the city anymore, because I totally missed actual food."
