Lifting an eyebrow, the smile fell away as Zach leveled a serious expression in Charlie's direction. "I can see that," he pointed out in what could only be called his 'big brother' tone. "Don't you think one of the looters who're immune could go out and get winter items for Rae's little one?" Zach didn't like the idea of Charlie looting when she wasn't immune, didn't like the idea of possibly losing another sibling.
Zach wouldn't force Charlie to stay, not if she was dead set on looting. But he would try his hardest to get her to see reason, to see that going out there and risking her life was insane, especially when they had other people - immune people - who could do it. Call it selfishness, but he couldn't stand to lose anymore siblings, and he knew Maddie and Dillon couldn't either.
Stepping into the cell and leaning back against the bars of the cell, he found himself sighing as he ran a hand through his hair and tried to think up a way to convince his sister she didn't need to be the one getting items for EJ. "C'mon Charlie, do you really think it's wise for you to be going out there?" He wasn't pleading, not yet. But he wouldn't be above doing that either.
