Eisen felt like he hadn't been busy enough lately. A strange thing for a man who was prolifically lazy to say, but it was true. Everyone else had a hundred thousand things to do, but Eisen somehow managed to have free time still. He had fun with Team Science, but not enough to devote every waking moment to them. Yeah, he was one of the "smart people," but he tired of activities like that when doing them for too long, so he tended to step away a lot earlier than the rest of them did. People used to tell him that he had so much "wasted intelligence," but when you didn't feel challenged, it was easy to get bored with it.
That day, he hadn't even gone to the Death Chamber, so this evening with Ellie was most welcome. Admittedly, spending time to her was one of the most appealing parts to hanging around the Death Chamber. Not that he didn't like helping with their experiments, but the fact that he was around Ellie when he was there? Well, it made the more tedious projects worthwhile. He carried his iPod with him, as well as the wall port and a couple of the snacks he'd found in the kitchen as he made his way up to Guard Tower 6.
Pushing the door open, he smiled at Ellie and waved casually. She... had a whole setup here! He chuckled, glancing down at his iPod and then back at her. "It looks like you've got everything covered, there, Lady Ellie."
