Re: Afterparty - Gale/Penny/Alicia/Percy
Penny dealt Gale a quick, hard squeeze to his hand to keep this from spiraling completely out of control. It was awkward enough as it was – twice that for Percy, it seemed – and there was no need to bring the rest of the pub into this. Her eyebrows shot up in assumed amused surprised at the sudden flow of insinuation and information from the younger Gryffindor. “Sounds like you have a great night ahead of you,” Penelope offered back, squelching the desire to roll her eyes at the intruder in this whole situation.
She looked up to meet Percy’s eyes for a moment before his guard dog started ushering him away. She wished she could talk to him, that that look in his eyes would go away, that things hadn’t mucked up the way they had. “Take care, Percy,” she told him gently before she turned away from them and downed her glass of wine.
“We should go,” she told Gale. “This evening just got a whole lot less fun, and I could really use a soak in the tub right about now.”
