This fic is just so incredibly well done!! So much in so few words. Humorous, bleak, atmospheric, and hot all in 1000 words.

Your writing is remarkably visual and there's some great imagery in here. Also, the concept of "lingering" and its recurrent use is fantastic.

Myrtle's POV works so well here; we get the (very tasty!) visuals of Draco wanking, and we also get the general sense of what he's thinking and feeling without ever really understanding the full details or depth. But we know enough to realize what Draco's image in his own Foe Glass means, oh yes. "His own worst enemy" indeed.

This fits perfectly into canon -- which makes canon that much darker for Draco. Yet it could also spin off into an AU -- which I now really want to see, because I want to know what would happen if Harry caught Draco at just the right (or wrong??) time and place... Hee! >:D
