Prompts will be posted in February and must be claimed by March 1. Fics will be posted anonymously throughout the month of May. Writers and artists will be invited to choose a character, a setting and an object/prop and produce a story (500 word minimum) or art which celebrates the glories of self-love, details the downfalls of self-abuse and generally just tries to melt the knickers off the mods and the readers. It's sort of like an NC-17 rated game of Clue: Draco in the Prefect's Bathroom with a wand or Severus at Malfoy Manor with a riding crop. You get the idea, right?
Since fandom in general is currently busy with the many holiday exchanges, we're just going to sit around for a bit, gathering prompts and waiting until everyone shakes off their holiday stupor in January before letting the general public know about this. If you already know about this, then you are either highly-attuned to the imminent presence of wank-fic, or are pals with one of the mods. ;-) You're welcome to join as either a member or watcher. If you want to make yourself useful, you're welcome to make suggestions for the to-be-fashioned Settings and Objects Prompts Tables. And yeah, we'll take anything. You want us to put 'rubber chicken' on the list, fine, 'rubber chicken' it is. We're very egalitarian about such things.
Oh, and in the meantime, if anyone wants to come up with some good Wankfest icons, that would be much appreciated.
