PREMISE  ·  WHY JOIN  ·  HOLDS  ·  PRE-MADES ABROAD  ·  WANTED/SUGGESTIONS  ·  DROP BOX

Roadmaps is an AU Mauraders Era RPG centered around the hunt for the Horcruxes, which have been scattered across the globe. Regulus has presented the Order of the Phoenix with what he knows about the Horcruxes: that the first has been hidden in Romania and that there are four more somewhere in the world. This sets off a chain of events leading to Voldemort's death and a mad scramble between the Order and Death Eaters with the Ministry and journalists trailing behind before Voldemort can return. For more information, click here.

Need more reasons to join? Roadmaps also explores what could have happened had things gone differently after the Marauders' graduation (for example, should Snape/Peter decide not to go to the other side), is super active, hosts a chat nightly, and home to 60+ characters. There's more information about what all you're missing out on here.

Wanted: Vampires! Death Eaters! Romanians! Journalists! Albus Dumbledore! Arthur Weasley! Mulciber Jr!

The year is 2023. The war has gone and the wizarding world is left without even a glimmer of a threat on the horizon. In this period of calm, the Ministry of Magic has been working even closer with the British Prime Minister briefly in secret before solidifying plans and making a widespread announcement through the Daily Prophet of what is to come. For the past few months, a select group within the ministry had been working with the upper end of the muggle community and managed to put into motion a program to allow a small number of muggles to attend Hogwarts for a year.

Forty-two muggles have been handpicked from some of the wealthiest and most political families in Britain to take a scheduled set of courses at Hogwarts. The wizard students will also be required to take at least one of the classes, in addition to their regularly scheduled course load, to help both integrate them a bit with their new classmates as well as educate them outside of their normal curriculum. Of course, rules about magic outside of classes will be harsher than ever before, and the ministry is the first to step up and implement an “administrator” to make sure these rules are ever so strictly enforced.

In an otherwise normal year, the ministry has once again gone and stirred things up for some unknown reason that of course no one will ever come out and explain. Some of Hogwarts students have no problem with their new visitors, but some would rather the ministry hurry up and decide to take back this obviously disastrous plan. In the end, the only question left to answer is, will this be for better or for worse?

The year is 2000. The war has been over for almost two years and people are finally starting to move on with their lives. The Death Eaters and their supporters have been locked away, peace is returning to the wizarding world.

The question of the severity of the punishments given to the Death Eaters has been raised and people want to know if rehabilitation is possible. Could these poor misguided souls be given a second chance? During the appeals process, many question whether the lifetime sentences are fair or if they were just a way to get rid of a problem. How can the Death Eaters and their supporters be rehabilitated and given a chance to live again?

Mathilda Hopkirk has a plan. She takes a published report on research that deems the violent natures of the purebloods as a byproduct of their inbreeding and makes it the basis for her new marriage programme. In essence : Marry the offenders to someone who has proven themselves to be on the path of right and good. At first the programme is met with mixed reactions but after winning the endorsement of the Minister and Wizengamot, it begins to gain public approval.

The pairs were announced 2000-01-10. Marriages are to be accomplished within a reasonable amount of time and must be overseen by an official Ministry representative. Not everyone is happy with Ms. Hopkirk's list. Are you? .

The Gossip Witch -- A Post-DH Harry Potter Game [12 Jan 2011|09:58pm]

PREMISE > RULES > POSTING > CHARACTER LIST > MOST WANTED > CAST > PBS > APPLICATION

She calls herself "The Gossip Witch", and no one knows her true identity. All they know is that if there's gossip in the Wizarding community, The Gossip Witch knows it, and she's not afraid to print it. Entries from this unknown source appear in the journals weekly; printing everything there is to know about the lives and scandals of former Hogwarts graduates (even things she shouldn't be able to know). She may use initials, but just about everyone knows who the rumors are about. Will your character end up on Gossip Witch's daily dishings? And how will this affect their lives, their relationships, and their emotions? No matter how it plays out, you know you love her...

The Gossip Witch has been open since January of 2010. We are accepting applications for all canon characters in the wiki or Lexicon, but are especially looking for:

Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Percy Weasley, Bill Weasley, Charlie Weasley, Angelina Johnson, Dean Thomas, Terry Boot, Michael Corner, Anthony Goldstein, Padma Patil and more.
