“Quick, in here, Draco,” Hermione urged, slamming the door behind him.

“What the bloody hell was that thing?” Draco wheezed.

“This Muggle-Wizard haunted house is quite captivating,” Luna murmured.

“What in Merlin's bollocks are you doing, Lovegood?” Draco hissed.

“These runes will keep away most of the truly nasty creatures currently hunting us,” she said calmly.

“Runes?” Draco spluttered. “For a mummy and, w-whatever that other thing—” He was cut off by a loud crash that shook the house.

“There, finished,” Luna said, skipping back to Hermione and Draco. “Runes are quite powerful magic, though they take some time to draw.”

“That barmy arsehole tore my suit with his hook,” Draco complained.

“You finally made it through!” George materialized, startling the trio.

“What'd you think of our scarecrow?” George laughed, leaning against the wall.

“If you're done grading us, George, the exit,” Hermione pressed.

“Was it scary enough though?” he asked.

“I didn't realize runespoors got that big,” Luna replied.

“They will with some inspired assistance. No sense of adventure, Granger,” George sighed. “Follow me. We're calling it, 'Weasley's Wizards Wraithy Whereabouts!'”

“You owe me a new suit, you twat,” Draco barked. “Scorpius is barred from coming here!”
