Mr Malfoy and Mr Potter,

This correspondence is to inform you of the establishment of two accounts at the London branch of Gringotts, one in the name of Miss Lily G. Weasley of Lake Cottage, Hogsmeade, Scotland and one in the name of Master Scorpius S. H. Malfoy also of Lake Cottage, Hogsmeade, Scotland, by Professor Severus O. Snape, currently of The Athenaeum, London.

Professor Snape has funded each account with 2,000 Galleons (approx. £10,000 at the current exchange rate) and has committed to providing a minimum contribution of 500 Galleons per account per annum through the close of 2029. Should Professor Snape pass away before 2029, arrangements have been put in place for a bulk sum to be deposited from his Gringotts account bringing the account totals for Miss Weasley and Master Malfoy to 12,000 Galleons each. Additional funds may be deposited from his estate depending upon instructions in his will.

Interest will acrue on the accounts at 2.4%, renegotiable after five years, and Professor Snape requests that the accounts be restricted to emergency use only until Miss Weasley and Master Malfoy reach their majority. Professor Snape has stated the account access prior to then should be open to himself as well as both of you. Enclosed you will find two sets of vault keys, one for Mr Malfoy and one for Mr Potter. Each set contains a key for Miss Weasley's vault and one for Master Malfoy's. Professor Snape also holds a set, of course.

As you are, I'm certain aware, emergency restrictions on a minor's vault require the signatures of all adult keyholders to access the vault for withdrawal. At Professor Snape's request, we are waiving the need for all three signatures. Withdrawals from both vaults may be approved by the signatures of at least two keyholders until the emergency restrictions are lifted.

If you would be so kind as to come by Gringotts within the week to register your signatures with your keys, we shall complete the account setup.
