I know that this is terribly short notice, but I fear that I will not be able to teach my classes tomorrow. I might, should all things happen in an expedient manner, be able to return to Hogwarts after lunch, but as of right now, I can't guarantee that. The Quibbler was broken into this afternoon and there is much that I have to deal with in regards to the situation which can only be dealt with during traditional business hours. I am sure that you understand.

I do apologise. My notes for my lecture are in my office with reading assignments. If you ask Professor Weasley, I'm sure that he would not mind finding them for you. All the years should be able to manage with quiet reading in the Library. Do thank Madam Pince for me, please.

There's some trouble with Ron and he's disappeared. Mum and Dad say spell shock. You know how he's been a little off? Overcautious and jumpy? It's a lot worse and he's done some things that are just not Ron. Big things.

He needs help, medical help, before he hurts himself or anyone else. If you see him, if he tries to contact you, tell Mum and Dad as soon as you can and try to find out where he is. But be careful, yeah? He drew his wand on Dad. And use a soft touch. He's not himself and we don't want to scare him off.
