FIC: "Rebuilding" for synn
Recipient: synn
Author: [info]psyfic
Title: Rebuilding
Rating: NC-17
Pairings: Hagrid/Aberforth, Snape/Hooch (Hagerforth & Snooch? Doesn't that sound like a Wizarding Law Firm?)
Word Count: ~10,300
Warnings/Content Information (Highlight to View): *Size queens, rather a lot of spunk, frottage, wall sex, first time. There is no bestiality but it is alluded to in re: the expected canon character.*
Summary: Two couples are brought together during the time of Hogwarts' rebuilding...
Author's Notes: You wrote: 'I like the idea of Snape/anybody, and Harry/Hagrid is a favorite.' Well, Hagrid already had a partner for the story, but I decided to include his and Harry's friendship here. I took your Snape/anybody at face value and hope you enjoy that pairing. You also wrote: 'I like details about little everyday magic more than large rituals, I love Hogwarts itself as a location: the history imbued in it, the thought of rebuilding after the war, etc.' So I used a bit of all that and I hope it suits. Happy Beholding!

Oh mystery author, this is just wonderful - thank you so much!
I love harry and hagrid's friendship - the way hagrid isn't willing to confide everything, and harry is rather oblivious to it, feels very ic to me.
Abe/Hagrid is lovely - I <3 letter writing in fic, so Hagrid's 'advertisement' really being a little love note/secret message is just excellent, and it fits them so well, being non-sentimental in style/statement, but with an implied sentimentality in how long it goes on. Also, on a kinky note, facials = yay, and I hardly ever see them in fic, so thank you : ) Hagrid's realization at the end was just such a nice, happy note to end on too!

Snape/hooch - what a surprise! I happen to really like hooch in general, so you certainly won't hear any complaints from me on that front : ) I loved the details about the affect being left for dead in the shack had on severus, as well as the extended sex drive (poor severus!), and z's enthusiasm/ lust (for life. and other things) bringing him out and helping him to heal. I enjoyed how irrepressible Hooch was; cheerful and a little chaotic, which is how I picture her.
I lol'd at harry having to deal with mr. lovegood's cooking. poor harry. and the mooncalves sound adorable!

This was such a treat - like I got two custom-made stories all at once! Thank you!! : )

You're very welcome. :) I'm glad you liked the friendship, as well as the pairings, and that it seemed ic. I'm pleased that there were a couple of elements you especially enjoyed and that you liked the little details.
