Author's Notes: When I read your request, I knew I wanted to write something with George, and the more I thought about it, the more Quidditch kept creeping back into my thoughts. So here is it, a very Weasley-heavy H/C story about survival, recovery, and love.

Thanks to my wonderful betas...and to the chatroom that cheered me on and helped me get through this short little story that turned into an epic.

Um, so that link I left goes back to anna's userinfo page, because she's still in the middle of a rewrite of it (though it was posted at the hp_georgecentric comm on LJ a year ago). So, this is the link to the first part of the imperfect version: http://hpgeorgecentric.livejournal.com/15904.html. For, to paraphrase your story, it's the imperfections that make something/someone perfect.

I'm also off to rec this on hp_georgecentric, because it's just.that.good.
