ART: "Unspoken" for musamihi
Recipient: [info]musamihi
Artist: [info]sigune
Title: Unspoken
Rating: G
Pairing: Minerva McGonagall/Severus Snape
Media: Staedtler pens, red calligraphy ink (totally inappropriate for painting), grey ecoline, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for the frame
Warnings: incredible G-ness and utter worksafeness
Summary: Between Headmaster Snape and his Deputy Headmistress, what is essential remains unspoken.
Artist's Notes: One of the worst things about Harry's decision not to return to Hogwarts for his seventh year is that we only got a few minutes' confrontation between Headmaster Severus and Minerva. Augh! Here is my take on what we didn't see. I hope you like it.
I had great beta-help from C. Don't blame her for anything that looks awkward - that's totally my own fault.
NB: the strange thing they are sitting on is a Victorian conversation chair.

I am head over heels in love with this drawing. The stylized black and white is just right for this pairing, with that shock of red (and oh, that chair...how perfect). There's such a lovely intimacy here in the way they're leaning, and in the way they've trustingly turned their backs and fallen asleep in each other's company.

What a perfect way to launch the fest!
