| 10:08p | Comic-Con 2008 Events - Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday Comic-Con has finally posted the list of speakers and events for Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday! So far, there is only one Harry Potter related event, but there are two more days that haven't been finalized, and plenty of other fandoms to enjoy. Wednesday Night is Preview Night and can only be attended by those with a four day pass. Thursday's events can be seen here. Sunday's events can be seen here. Muggles, Wizards, and Fans in the World of Harry Potter Sunday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am Panel members Erin Pyne (author of A Fandom of Magical Proportions), Sue Upton (senior editor of www.the-leaky-cauldron.organd co-host of Pottercast), Melissa Anelli (author of Harry: A History), and Heidi Tandy (webmaster, Fiction Alley) will have wands at ready as they discuss what makes Harry Potter fans so different from members of other fandoms. How has the HP fandom affected the development of the books and movies? Moderated by notorious Muggle Eric Bowling. ~ Room 2 I suggest that if you have a particular fandom that you adore, go to the links above and do a key-word find, such as "Buffy" or "Star Trek". This will show you all events where people related to those genres will be present, and you can plan your time accordingly.
