Title: Spoon
Recipient: [info]brumeux77
Artist: [info]wallflowergirl
Medium: Dyed merino wool fiber needle felted on acrylic felt
Pairings/Characters: Fred and George Weasley
Rating: NC-17
Warnings/Kinks: incest, wanking
Summary: It was just like touching himself. Only better.
Artist's Notes: This was an experience. I completely underestimated the amount of time and wool this would take. Skin is a rather ambitious project. I drew the outline on to the felt freehand and then had to dye white unspun wool to a color I could use for sink. Tea turned out to be the best match. I boiled teabags in water for about an hour and then took them out and put the wool in. This then simmered away for about three hours. Came out a decent color but I had to blend it with brown, red and white to get different tones.
The wool was then laid on the felt and stabbed repeatedly with a felting needle. Many, many times.
I ran out of skin color part way through and had to dye some more. I would have liked to have done a better blend for their hair but I ran out of time and felt.
The main picture is a scan and the two photos show the depth and details of the piece.
