Good morning! I hope you all are having a good week!
Mine's been pretty good actually. I had that doctor's appointment on Monday. I couldn't get my skin graft yet. Get this, the insurance needed a letter of Medical Necessity from the doctor. The doctor sent one in and they said it had too many technical medical terms, and to send another one.
Yep. The medical insurance couldn't understand medical terminology. If that doesn't explain a lot of the problems with health care today, I don't know what would.
Not much going on around here. Things are going smoothly for once, which is nice. Upping that antidepressant has really helped me! I go to the shrink next Monday, so I think she'll let me continue.
And that's going to be fun. I have an early morning appointment with a doctor and a late afternoon. No time at all for naps. Joy. I hate being out of the house that much, but what can you do? Then I have a dermatologist appointment on Wednesday. It's a busy week next week. I should enjoy the easy week this week.
Wednesday is Beltane! Sally's going to make tacos and sugared strawberries! It's gonna be yummy! A lovely beginning of Summer!
I also have a Beltane recipe this week. Gluten-Free Honey Cake with Lemon and Lavender. It's made with lavender infused honey but I bet it would be just as good with regular. Hope you like it!

Hello! Hope y'all are having a great day!
I had a pretty good week this week! So, yay! I had to go to my PCP on Wednesday because I had an earache but she gave me some drops and it's much better. Didn't get that skin graft I needed because they needed some letter from the doctor to my insurance to make sure I actually needed it, so hopefully this week that'll happen.
Got a chapter of Heat written and I was proud of it! LOL! I'm doing a lot better since they upped my depression meds this last time. It's not like pulling teeth to write now. So that's a good thing since I'm almost out of pre-written chapters on my other story.
Did I mention I got a new phone? Yeah, my old one didn't have enough memory and would not support my bank app when it updated because it was old so I got a new one. I'm really proud of myself, I got it up and running all on my own! Everything switched over except for a few more passwords. Yay!
That's about all I got for this week. Beltane is coming up and I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing for that. This week is looking pretty chill though, with only the chore of dusting my desk ahead of me.
