"Tatum." That was a stupid name. It sounded like tater tot or something. Dakota giggled a little but didn't let Tatum in on the secret. After all, Dakota didn't want to alienate her number one fan by doing things like insulting her name. She wasn't like a Christina Aguilera level biotch yet. She needed her fans even if they were awkward and weird and stuttered and named after a tater tot.
"We're gonna have the best day, Tatum. Just you and me." Dakota smiled brightly at the other girl and plucked the champagne flute from her hand before setting it on the table. Somebody else would clean that up or at least they had better if they knew what was good for them. Dakota had a laundry list of demands she always handed out any time she performed anywhere and if they weren't all adhered to there would be hell to pay.
Dakota threaded her arm through Tatum's and lead her out through the dressing room door. Dakota smiled and waved at her mother who was on the phone as they walked past her. When they got outside suddenly tons of flashes were going off and people were all yelling for Dakota. Dakota smiled broadly and waved at all of them with her perfectly practiced princess wave.
"I just want to introduce everyone to my number one fan. Guys, this is my girl Tatum! Can we get some applause for her!"
The crowd of people, mostly young girls started screaming and cheering because they would applaud for anything Dakota told them to. She loved having that kind of power but she could tell Tatum wasn't so comfortable in the spotlight.
"Thank you. Thank you all so much! I'll see you later!" Dakota waved at her adoring fans before ushering Tatum away again. The redhead didn't notice the person separating from the crowd and following the two girls.
