Who: Scooby Gang (Tatum, Teagan, and Casper)
When: Afternoon, segueing from this post.
Where: Second Floor, Room 215
What: Investigation of Room 215
Warning: Placeholder, but thought this might need more room.
As it turned out, Seth hadn't been in the lobby. It wasn't all that surprising, really, but Teagan was a little disappointed. She was far more interested in seeing any potential ghost activity than she was waiting around a lobby for some strange guy, however. Especially since she'd acquired two new partners in her investigation.
Because both of the girls seemed to be the quiet sort, Teagan naturally slipped into the role of leader. If asked, she'd never describe herself that way. She certainly didn't think of herself as a leader in any definition of the word, but it was true that she did have a habit of instigating things. She hadn't hesitated so much as a moment before inviting Casper and later Tatum along on the venture, and it was likely that enthusiasm that inspired both girls to go along with the idea. People didn't really often say no to Teagan. Most of her friends claimed that it was because they didn't want to hurt her feelings and risk tearful puppy dog eyes, but it probably had more to do with her manner of throwing out her ideas and suggestions as if they'd already been vetted and found acceptable. She didn't censor or question herself very much. It was part of being a positive person.
In the elevator, she was practically vibrating with excitement. Occasionally, one of the myriad thoughts whirling about in her brain would just tumble effortlessly out of her mouth. I'm pissed that I didn't get a haunted room; I'd love to see a ghost and maybe the whole place is cursed because of that girl they found at the construction site would be intermixed with without eyebrows, is it hard for people to tell that you're mad at them? She didn't talk the whole time, nonstop, but when she did say something it seemed to be a roll of the dice what the topic would be.
Luckily it was a short trip to the second floor, and 215 wasn't difficult to find, since the layout was fairly similar to their own. Along the way, Teagan stooped to pick something up off the floor.
"A key!" She looked at it for a moment, before handing it to Tatum. "I can't find a number on it. Can you?"
