[12 Aug 2012|11:44am] Hey there! I'm Alison and I will be playing two characters at the soon-to-open trio-era game Accio Goblet! It's set during the events of Goblet of Fire, as seen from the perspectives of the older students at Hogwarts. The mods are awesome - I know as I've played in their games before - and I think the game is going to be a blast. Both of my characters are here today looking for their friends. Barney Dunstan is a bouncy, energetic, slightly dim Hufflepuff in Cedric's year and he really REALLY wants to see Cedric Diggory please! They don't have to be best friends or anything, but I'm assuming they will at least be friendly. If you can't drum up a Cedric muse, Barney would also be happy to see any other Hufflepuffs - Cadwallader, Stebbins, Summers, Summerby, for example, or you could put S. Capper, Harold Dingle, J. Dorny, Merton Graves, Eloise Midgen, a Montgomery sister, Rolf Scamander, Patricia Stimpson or Orsino Thruston in Hufflepuff. I know the game hasn't started yet, but so far Barney is the only badger! Considering all the Hufflepuff pride that is going to be happening when Cedric gets picked to represent Hogwarts, this is a great game to play yellow. Alicia Spinnet is an outspoken and opinionated Gryffindor who would love to see her best friends and fellow Chasers Angelina Johnson and Katie Bell. They'll have to decide whether to support good-looking Cedric Diggory (swoon) or their Quidditch buddy Harry Potter in the tournament (or of course, they could be too busy crushing on Quidditch Superstar Viktor Krum who is walking around their school like a real person). Alicia would also be happy to see Fred and George Weasley or Lee Jordan - hell, even Kenneth Towler. In addition, there is Alicia's older sister in the year above, Ruby Spinnet, and if someone was interested in picking her up, that would be awesome. There are a ton of great characters available, including plenty of name-only characters if you have an OC in mind you'd like to play. Why not check it out and put in a hold? [12 Aug 2012|11:22pm] A DESPERATE WISH It was a battle like any other. A fight they had fought for so long. The Brotherhood, run up against the X-Men. One trying to stop humanity's destruction of their own kind, one trying to protect all of mankind. Human and mutant alike. There were injuries, and there was fatigue. It was a parting shot, and still no one knows who took it. All they know is time, slowed. Pietro, known for his speed, had stopped. Somehow been hit and fallen. His sister, Wanda, turned and seeing his limp form, eye staring blankly at the sky, screamed enraged. She threw herself, and her powers, over his body, a silent plea for help, any sort of help. Her powers of reality manipulation pushed to their breaking and she too went limp. But not before the world shimmered, and changed. Our reality, absorbed, absorbing another. Heroes and villains alike felt the odd shift, but none know exactly what has happened. Only that fallen comrades have returned. Loved ones, once thought lost, brought back, and new heroes, new enemies, emerged. The worlds of Marvel and D/C have joined. A wish for time to go back, for youth to return, was taken literally. Now everyone is finding themselves in a merged world, one where they have somehow gotten younger. Their powers, their memories, are theirs, but now they seem to have more time. So do they trust each other? Or find a way to somehow separate their worlds once again? Knowing the consequences could be blinking out of existence all together.
