Seattle; Drop by Drop is an urban fantasy/supernatural creature site, set in modern day Seattle.
We've got a wide variety of playable races, from witches and necromancers to vampires and lycans, and several completely unique races like the Viri, (who are much more than -just- winged humans), the Idimmu, (refugees from other dimensions with colorful skin, wings, horns, and more) Shapeshifters, who come in several varieties; animals, reptiles, plants, and even a class who can shift their gender. And our newest race, the Deasura, who you might know by the name 'mermaids', but I can assure you, these are far from the cuddly disney versions you know.
We're a friendly and welcoming site, active but laid back. We've got a lot of great things for members, from a 'Searching For' section to a Player Adoptions section, writing challenges, IC diaries, and more.
Our plot is basically member driven and open, but we also have monthly, site wide storylines that anyone can get in on.
There's no word count; we have a variety of players who post anywhere from 120-2500 words on average.
And our apps are short! Just basic info like height, age and weight, with a focus on the history.
We like to let people have choices, whether it's using a celeb/musician/stock model or none at all for their playby, or writing in 1st or 3rd person. We also have the Sub Accounts mod, so we let players choose whether to use an accounts-per-player style or an accounts-per-character style linked to a main OOC account.
We're self hosted, but don't let that intimidate you; it's a very user friendly board software, and because it's self hosted, you won't have to worry about downtime or shutdowns. We're also very laid back, encouraging members to register and hang around getting to know people rather than demanding applications be posted the minute you join.

I have a couple of ideas I'd like to PSL. I prefer threading, but I have aim for plotting purposes.
Supernatural: Dean AND Sam (one or two players, idc) for my Ruby - Something dark and dirty. I don't really care what the specifics are, but I want the boys to pretty much own the hell out of her and for her to fight it like crazy. Details could be something like Dean coming back from Hell leaning more on the demon side. Or Sam doing the whole Boy King thing instead of being a vessel. Or maybe instead of killing her after they set Lucifer free, the boys chain her up to punish her? Ruby could be a willing participant or not. I'm down with whatever.
Marvel: Tony Stark for my Susan Storm. An affair line, probably. Going through her divorce. Or something during/just after Reed going arch-villain on them.
Clint Barton for my Natalia Romanova. No specifics, just a craving that needs filled :)
Doctor Who: Eleventh Doctor or Jack Harkness for my Rose Tyler. Again, no specifics. Everything is up for discussion :D
