In February of 1864 the followers of the dark wizard Giles Kemmler brought war to America in an attempt to rise to power. That June the followers of Kemmler managed to break through the defenses of the Washington Irving Academy and invade. Much of the school was destroyed in the battle, not to mention the destruction to the wizarding population. It was rebuilt after the war, and renamed, in an attempt to create something lasting from the time or turmoil as a symbol of progress and hope.
For the students of the WIA today, there doesn’t seem to be much of that progress anymore. The current headmistress is making life difficult for these kids, and seems to be out to eradicate all the joy of the high school experience. No groups larger than 8 can meet, no dances, and it looks like there are more awful changes on the horizon. Why would she do these things? Because it seems like it’s just for fun. The more insidious things are what worries some. Like who was she meeting so late at night? And why had those students gone missing? They are questions that some are still asking, and ones that probably should be answered soon...

Before I take the time to create a board I wanted to run the idea by some of you.
I have always wanted to have a board that is based around a summer camp. Yes, I know, this would also bring about the question of what happens when the summer runs out? Well...simple, you merely just move the story along until the warmer months roll in when the camp can reopen between June 14 and August 14. Imagine the possibilities if you will. A writer has endless options for creation when it comes to what happens to a character during the months when the camp is not open, almost a way of recreation... rebirth even if that is what you choose.
I was hoping to create a place where OC roles are open for both camp counselors, campers, and everything else in between, including the standard camp nurse. There will be lots of activities (think Bug Juice or that camp that you always wanted to attend but your parents could never afford). This will be a place where I am open to all suggestions and story lines. The world is not always a happy go lucky place, maybe the exterior hides the interior pain, or perhaps life really is all that grand.
Would there be any takers for a board like that?
Once again to the mods, sorry if this isn't the right place. I will save this text just in case I am breaking some rules by posting here and with your direction will repost this elsewhere.
