It's 1981. Voldemort is on the rise. Death Eaters roam free. Hundreds have died or disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope seems lost, that is until a Prophecy is made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child will bring an end to Voldemort's reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he could grow into a threat.
We all know the story, little Harry Potter is that child, his parent's die to protect him, the Dark Lord falls, Sirius Black is sent to prison, The Longbottoms are tortured to insanity, dozens more die, and the survivors are left broken.
But let's not get further into that, because we all know that story. Because, what if the story had a different outcome? What if you had a chance to re-write canon? Decide who lives? Who dies? Who wins the war?
What if you could re-write history?
Here is your chance!
Crescendo is an AU Marauders Era RPG taking place in 1981, when the war is in full swing. Through your actions, the story will slowly unravel into something new and exciting, or still have the same outcome. The ending is unknown, but the journey to discovering it will be a good one.

She blames him for her no longer being able to have physical skin to skin contact anymore, when in reality it was his power activating that caused her to have such a power trip.
I'm not picky about what school he's affiliated with, what his secondary power is, or face. Please though have him have Boost as his primary power. We can discuss how this relationship will develop over e-mail if you're interested or via the contact post.

In the small sleepy college town of Black Falls, all seems well. But lurking under the surface trouble is brewing. It would seem the citizens are destined to be the prey of a war between hell and the human race.
The clock is ticking! At midnight on October 31st all hell will break loose. Literally.
Only those few college students who were lucky enough to purchase their Halloween costumes at a small costume shop located on the campus of Black Falls College, have the chance to survive and preserve their souls.
What side will you fall on?

Moderator Note: I am looking for humans and demons. I need to fill a wide range of characters. This is a brand spanking new game!!! The game will begin on November 5th, 2011 but is set to take place in game on October 31st, 1999. Human characters will need to choose a costume, and choose well. Each come with their own limitations and bonuses. Demons too have special abilities and limitations. It is in essence a survival horror game.
Currently I have two characters reserved for players I know from previous games I have run. I run this game essentially like a Dungeon master, I do not play a character, I simply oversee the world it is set in. I would like to recruit a wide range of characters and players to give the game more diversity.
For those interested in applying, humans must be students. Demons must be members of the college faculty, be they support staff or professors.
