The year is 1963.
It is a time in history like no other. There are those who feel that they are standing on the dawn of a golden age while others feel that the threat of nuclear war will tear the nation apart. The fire of the Civil Rights Movement is beginning to blaze with men and women standing up against oppression at home, as costumed superheroes and criminals begin to make their presence known.
Against this backdrop of conflict and change, a man named Charles Xavier is searching for others of his kind.
Xavier sees the turmoil ahead. He believes that a war against mutants may soon be coming--he sees it in the reaction of Americans to the threat of the bomb and the fear of mutation. His friend, Erik Lehnsherr, argues that violence should be met with violence, that mutants should strike first and enslave those who would harm them. But Xavier is not a man quick to anger and instead, he is preparing a sanctuary for those who would band together for protection. It is not children that he seeks but men and women--in case the battle is brought to their front door.
As movements march on and wars erupt, Xavier’s dream turns from fantasy to necessity. Where will it lead mutantkind? |

Seeking a few specific characters to fill plot lines over at Six Degrees, a post-war social game set in 2006:
Most importantly-- Weasleys!
➜ Bill, Charlie, Percy, and Ron -- Holy lack of Weasleys, Batman! George and Ginny are in dire need of their siblings. Bill would have plot with his wife Fleur, who just joined the game. Percy would have plot from Audrey, his future-baby-mama, with whom he has already had a few dates. Ron would have plot with Harry and Hermione, of course!
➜ Luna Lovegood -- Neville misses the other half of his best friends.
➜ Astoria Greengrass -- Your elder sister Daphne has inherited the family business, and is trying to pass off a fake engagement to Gabriel Derrick to your mother... yikes!
➜ Parvati Patil -- You and your sister Padma had been on the outs for a while, but she'd like to make amends now.
➜ Justin Finch-Fletchley, Ernie Macmillan, Zacharias Smith -- Wayne Hopkins is the only male Hufflepuff from the trio year around, he needs some guy friends!
➜ Draco Malfoy -- We'd say that Harry Potter wants him around, but we all know that's not true... still, antagonizing the Boy Who's Still Living is reason enough, yes?

War of Wonderful Wonderland. Falling into Wonderland is no mystery, but it might be something new when the whole world is turned upside down by warring territories. The country of Heart began bringing "outsiders" in for new blood from the real world so they can settled their differences or one could possibly take over. Which side will you be placed? The Hatter's Mafia, The Queen's Castle or the Carnival? Let's hope you are not faced against a friend.
This game isn't like any other Wonderland game. It is truly a strange and captivating place that is just as dark as a horror game but has the light-feeling of a social game. Because this place is so unpredictable, no one really knows what will happen next!
