The Land of Make Believe
Where anything is possible...

You open your eyes and you are in a stately room with fine trappings and thick stone walls. You look outside and a dragon flies passed your window and yet that is clearly a sprawling modern city you see in the distance. You search your room for any clue as to how you arrived in… where are you? All you find is a scroll welcoming you to The Make Believe Castle and to enjoy your stay in The Land of Make Believe. And that's when things get odd...

The Land of Make Believe is a panfandom RPG open to any character from any fandom.

Horror Halls - a Dark AU Crossgen Harry Potter RP [12 Feb 2011|10:02pm]
Gellert Grindelwald became the most feared wizard in the world through his rise to power in the 1900s. During his rise to power many muggles began to fall victim to his curses. It was, as he said, for the greater good of society that muggels were destroyed. They were the reason witches and wizards have been hunted for centuries and many of them were cruel to the race of wizards. It was not out of fear, but necessity that they be removed from their place in life.

By 1945, half the muggles in the United Kingdom were gone thanks to the efforts of Grindelwald and his Knights of Walpurgis, a secret society of police in the wizarding world. But in 1945 things came to a standstill as Gellert was faced with his once oldest friend, Albus Dumbledore. The two tried to talk one another down from their path but when they couldn’t any longer it came to a duel, one that took over an entire city block destroying buildings in its wake.

What really happened that day between Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore has always haunted society. It was enough that a rip was created in time creating two outcomes where each won. two worlds, two histories and two very different societies. Now sixty years later, the wall between worlds has grown so thin that people have begun fading into the other world - one that was very different from their own.
