Firstly, please allow me to give you all this gift: ( lulz. )
So, last night while I was discussing how I was going to handle my introduction, Noel suggested I just write:
"BOOBIES! ...And now that I have your attention."
Ahem. That's right. Meesha here, bringing a little class to this act. I'll be taking on the role of Kal's krazy kousin Karen Starr from Krypton! ...Okay enough of that. She's not really crazy, but yes, she is Kal's cousin. She's from a parallel universe - an "Earth-47", if you will.
Here's the Reader's Digest: she gets punted off of Krypton because "Oh, my god, oh my god - we're all gonna die!" And gets shuttled off in a "Symbioship" where she's educated by VR until she lands on "Earth." She was then found by her Uncle Clark and Aunt Lois and the two help her integrate to life on Earth and form her secret identity. Needless to say it, it took some doing but eventually she adopted the persona of "babe-a-licious computer programmer Karen Starr." She also joined the Justice Society and took Supes place when he retired.
Everything is all hunky-dory until she went to battle with a cosmic foe who attacked her with a reality wave that began unraveled everything. Power Girl narrowly survived the encounter only by fleeing through time and space into what she would discover was different world: Earth-42. The here and now. Where Modern Age is set. Where everything is all weird and different and Clark is all young and not married to Lois. (Seriously, wtf?)
Anyways, that was two years ago when she landed here on this Earth. Since then she's been an industrious little bee. Again she's taken on the role of Karen Starr and has started Starrware Labs, a publicly traded research and development firm focused on providing solutions to the planet's environmental problems. She makes iPhone apps in her free time - it keeps the lights on.
