"I am in a state of being death warmed over at present so I can't even hold that against you," he said in good humor. "We take turns, but sleep doesn't come easily right now. Too much to do and get done, and time is something we cannot afford to lose much of," he said feeling so very weary and worn out.
A vacation sounded like a wonderful idea right now. He could imagine it, a week not in the castle. It would be glorious, and well earned. "I'd go to Tinworth," he said. "Go home for a little rest." At the mention of life altering decisions, he quirked a brow questioningly. "Ah, yes. The deep musings of someone close to death. I suppose it is if ever there was a time for it."
Marlene seemed more than competent and he'd be a little worried by this idea that was floating, but given all he had seen any worries he had about it quickly faded away so soon as they came to mind. "Are we going to be twins?" He asked with a chuckle. Although he suspected he knew where this conversation was going. "So what will it be, a man or a woman. A bloke or a bird? A lad or a maiden?" He asked with genuine interest.
