RP: Harry/Draco
Who: Harry/Draco
When: Evening of the 4th
Where: Heaven
What: Harry takes Draco out for his birthday
Draco had already survived a day at the theme park. Harry was still not sure if he'd been incredibly amused or terrified by the rollercoaster. They never seemed to get around to talking about it. It was probably his fault, something about lack of communication his children would say, but it just didn't seem that important. Maybe he'd ask tonight.
They had dressed up in what was fashionable club attire thanks to Scorpius, although Harry was sure that this was not what was club attire at Heaven. People tended to shed clothes there pretty quickly. Tonight was one of their G-A-Y nights, with drag queens and live show before the DJ set the dance floor on fire. At least he thought it was one of their G-A-Y nights. Harry had discovered Heaven not too long ago and apparently was the hotspot for gay men. Since it was such an institution, he was banking on the fact that it was still there.
They arrived late, much later than they were used to staying up. The place was packed, mostly with gay couples. As Harry had expected, clothes were tight or missing, with plenty of men walking around shirtless. The hue of blue coming from the lights made everything seem even more sinful. He held Draco's hand, smiling. "Welcome to Heaven."

Draco had been getting a real education in all things Muggle lately, and as much as he hated to admit it he was actually enjoying a lot of it. He especially liked Harry in this outfit, even if robes were infinitely more comfortable.
"Heaven, huh?" He looked around with a sardonic smile, taking in the, admittedly very attractive, sights.
"It's not exactly what I pictured," though truthfully he hadn't really known what to expect. "But I think it might be better." Harry was definitely getting more than one hungry glance, and Draco linked their arms posessively.
"So. Do we dance? Or are we getting liquid courage first?"
***
"Hey, I didn't come up with the name," he said with a grin. "I think when it opened it was both heaven and a haven for gay people, but now-" No one seemed to care. Even in 2003, things were not this simple. He couldn't imagine how much more hidden it was when it had opened. "We get to enjoy it, though."
Harry leaned closer and kissed Draco's jaw. "I'm not going anywhere," he whispered in Draco's ear. "We're spending the entire night together."
Pulling back, he smiled. "As if I need courage in any form. I do like alcohol though. Let's get something to drink. You can have some of those fruity cocktails they make here. You'll like them." Harry would go for something simpler, less sugar and more alcohol. "They have a drag queen show too at some point." His mind went to Scorpius for a moment, but then decided not to think about that too hard. "We can also find a place to sit until we get our bearings. I don't exactly know how people dance in 2038."

"I'm just making sure they all know you're mine," he said back, quietly. He pulled Harry in for a proper kiss, then linked their arms again, a little more casually. "I have no idea what a Drag Queen is, but it sounds like fun. And I do like fruity things."
He let Harry lead them over to the bar. He kept his eyes on the dancing couples, and had to agree that he had no idea how to do most of that. A lot of it couldn't even be counted as dancing, more like sex with pants on. Draco could pull off any of the proper ballroom dances, but this was definitely not that. Still, he was game to try. Especially if Harry took his shirt off.
"I don't think I've ever seen quite this much glitter in one place before."
***
Harry huffed. "I'm not sure anyone here cares that much about me. It's the beauty of the Muggle world. I can be anonymous for a while." The kissing was something he enjoyed, so he kissed Draco once more, deciding that there would be plenty of that, since clubs were made for kissing and dancing. "It's men that dress like women, but- more than that, they have wigs- Never mind, you'll have to see it."
Walking to the bar took much longer than it should have considering the short distance, but the place was packed on a Friday night. Harry ended up letting go of Draco, just to link their hands together, making it a little easier to get through the crowd. Even at the bar, they had to fight the crowd to order. He got himself a Guiness and one of those cocktails that were heavy on the juice and light on the alcohol for Draco.
Harry turned to look at the crowd, leaning against the bar. He pulled Draco close to him and put his arms around his lover. "You'll see more glitter." Tired of screaming, he cast a spell, just waving his hand, creating a little bubble of quieter music around them. "If you had asked me in school that one day we'd be at a gay club together, I would have checked for spells, but here we are." He often cut discussions short with kisses and sex. It was easier for him, but he was trying with his kids and he figured that he should try with Draco too. "I'm glad we are here. I want to do things with you." He brushed Draco's hair gently. "I want to do a lot of things with you."
***
Draco let out a little sigh of relief as Harry cast his spell. He liked the music okay, but he didn't think he'd ever get used to how loud muggle places were.
"If I had asked you to go to a gay club with me back at school I would have been under the Imperius, because I had no idea places like this even existed!" It was nice though, seeing how little things like being gay mattered in the future.
He leaned happily into Harry's touch. He was a tactile person by nature, but tried not to be too handsy with Harry. He knew it was a new thing for him, and he never wanted his boyfriend to feel uncomfortable. Especially in public. He wondered if it was the anonymity of this place, or if Harry was starting to get used to casual touch. Either way, Draco would take it.
"I want to do everything with you," he replied, smiling in a sweet way that would have looked utterly foreign in the past. Maybe they were all growing. He leaned in slightly, grinning. "People are looking at you, you know. Not because you're Harry Potter, but because you look fucking hot in that outfit."
***
"Don't you like the music?" Harry asked. He loved it, even when he had no idea what the songs were. "There's something hypnotic about how loud it is, the beat of the bass vibrating through the club and your body, the lights going on and off. You can get lost in the rhythm so easily. Unless I'm trying to talk, then it's just annoying," he admitted. Not that Harry did a lot of talking in clubs like this. In the past, if he had been here, it would have been for a hook up and nothing more.
He snorted. "True enough. I didn't know these places existed either, and if we're honest, anyone who would cast the Imperius would probably not know about this place either. It would have been truly remarkable if any discussion about this would have occurred in school."
Harry hated that Draco had to hold back most days. He never knew what touch would be weird while at Hogwarts, but there was one place where he was just fine with touches. "You can touch as much as you like," he said. "This is what this place is for. It's why I wanted to come here, just the two of us. You can do anything you like and I'll be fine."
Pulling Draco even closer with a hand, he half turned when he heard the bartender. He handed Draco his drink and took his bottle. They would be indecent at Hogwarts, crotch touching, bodies flushed. It was perfectly natural here. "Or maybe they are looking at you. Your hair, your eyes, you look bloody hot in anything, always have."
