Lily had been down in the hall, getting together some food to bring back to the common room. The weather was affecting her mood, making her feel far more tired than she knew she should be. Between rain and the overcast skies, Lily genuinely wished she could just stay in bed and be lazy until the sun decided to grace them with its' presence once again. Of course, she knew she couldn't do that, because she still had greenhouses to organize.
In the back of her head, she was wondering where James had gotten off to, having not seen him in the hall when she was bribing a house elf into making her a picnic basket. She had to assume that she looked a sight, considering the sheer amount of dirt she had been working with before heading back to the castle. Thankfully, none of the plants seemed in the mood to misbehave overly much, or she probably would have been a right mess. At least now she had something to eat after getting herself cleaned up.
Sighing with relief as she gained access to the common room, Lily was both pleased and embarrassed to see James sitting in front of the fire. "I see you were feeling just as social as I am."
