"Sirius is definitely in a class by himself, I will give you that." That reminded her that she needed to check in with him without looking like she was checking in with him. Quidditch was in their future. "Is he around, by the way? I feel like I should go check his old classroom just to see if he's still teaching even though there aren't any students." That was actually really sad to think about, even if it was Binns.
"I volunteer to make a trip into the forest, or at least to the lake, to see if someone will talk to me. I've been to the lake a few times, made friends again with the giant squid, but I haven't seen any mermaids. Sometimes they'd come to the surface, but not now." She supposed they'd gone about their lives, free from annoying humans. "Brilliant. I've got a job then." It wasn't a question, so much as a statement. Hopefully, there wouldn't be any paperwork to sign.
