Re: James & Remus
James heard Remus coming, knowing from the lightness of the footsteps who was approaching even before he turned round. Instead he carried on with his charm, watching the old wood weave itself back together.
When Remus spoke, he turned long enough to shoot him a smile, pushing his glasses up his nose.
"Course. You know me, Moony. Old reliable." The work was finished when he turned back and James tucked his wand away, instead knocking the repair with the heel of his hand. It gave a satisfying 'clunk' noise.
"Look at that," he said, pleased. "Solid as a rock. I should get paid for this stuff." Rocking back on his heels, James turned to face his friend properly, a shadow of concern passing over his face. He almost checked his watch, then remembered he'd left it in the room. "How you feeling? We've got a bit of time still, haven't we?"
