Jamie & Lily
Lily nodded at his comment, meeting his eyes as offered him a knowing grin. "I'd say these kinds of events make people want to cling to the ones they care about a little tighter, not just their partners."
Although she couldn't remember the last time she went to a memorial, the desire to hold Harry a little tighter when she heard news of another friends' passing was not foreign to Lily. Losing people was something that never got easier, no matter how long it might've been when you last saw them. In a way, finding out that she and James died so close together made her feel slightly better since it meant neither had to be without the other for long.
Regardless of the fact that she hardly knew the woman they were celebrating, she understood the need for adhering to tradition for purposes of closure.
"I am, for the most part," she laughed quietly, amused at how he phrased the question. "I wouldn't mind finding somewhere for James and I, but for the time being the tower will do."
