"Never." It was nice to be able to joke with her. "Dad got a little upset when he read about it. I had to tell him that it wasn't true, but yeah it is ridiculous. Do you want to know what is really ridiculous? My birthday is a bank holiday now. Or before. Everything shut down and magical folks would come into the Muggle world, all dressed in robes. It was insane. But yeah, I did have people to help me." He kissed her cheek. "Then tell him to butt off. You deserve to be super happy."
Harry made a face. "He's a bastard and deserves what he got. He died of a heart attack. I think she's better off without him. Dudley says that she's become... nicer." He tilted his head. "Do you not like sushi or are you too much of a realist?" He knew so little about her that the fact that she might not like sushi seemed terribly important.
He nodded. "That's exactly it. We're not blood but we are family." He chuckled. "I'm not sure what he'd say about the comparison, but I guess we've been dancing around each other long enough that it's accurate." He thought for a moment. "I think you'll like him. He did some stupid shit when he was young, mostly to protect his family, but he and his mother helped me when it counted. I would not be alive without Narcissa's help." A mother's love, Dumbledore would have loved the irony.
"That's never going to happen," Harry said. "Never. I want to know everything about you- Well, not everything, I'm not as bad as Sirius," he said, chuckling.
