"I mean, I think that's the trade off for being a seeker," James grinned. "All the drama and glory at the end, but a lot of sitting about. Did you ever try being a chaser?"
A part of him wondered what it would have been like if Harry had grown up as he should have. Would it have been like James' childhood? A Quidditch goalpost in the back garden, going to matches on the weekends during the holidays? He hoped so. And who knew how good Harry could have been then.
He grinned, slinging his broom over his shoulder. "You never know; weirder stuff has happened. And people do get a bit barmy over Quidditch. It could be worth a shot."
He laughed. "Ah, he'll recover. I'm actually the sore loser out of us lot, usually. So please appreciate the grace with which I'm handling this." He gestured to himself, raising an eyebrow playfully.
