Re: Savannah/Jamie
"Yeah? So how do you explain Sirius?" she asked, because she would never understand the myth or the man. "Also have you met your brother? I'm not sure he knows how to brag. I can outbrag him and we both know that I'm no good at it." Even with the pro game, she was always nice to her opponents. She might have been called the Duchess of Pride by the press, but the players were more likely to call her the Sweetheart of Pride.
Savannah laughed at the idea. "I can totally see him do that, or arguing with companies about how he couldn't possibly be the face of their product, because he's not that important." She shook his head. "No one but your Aunt would have been able to represent him anyway, because he wouldn't have trusted them."
She shrugged. "I can see the reasoning. Scarlet wrote about us, we sent a nice letter and they have completely ignored us as if we don't exist. I've tried to convince them that we need to give them a little more time. My dad doesn't care one bit, obviously, but Lucius has been on my side. I feel like we are the only grown ups in that room." She snorted. "You might regret your choice. If I can't restrain him you'll be the one with smoke coming out of your ears. Your aunt and uncle will support him on anything and really let's take on the entire world. Never mind that the confederation might want a little more than five days to discuss the fact that people are back from the dead, report it to their governments and then get 191 governments to agree. Come on, it's the right thing to do, it should have taken them an hour or so."
