Sirius let Teddy pull him in, tired now in a way that had nothing to do with energy. He even missed Teddys extra little flirt, something he would have been quick to jump on if he was on his game.
"It's, it's not being here that messed us up though. Being here is sort of our, second chance. I guess. We, I, messed us up a long time ago." He wanted to tell Teddy that he probably shouldn't get any closer to Sirius. Should probably get the Hell out of his orbit as soon as he could. Sirius had had three positive relationships in his whole entire life, and they had apparently been a lot more messed up than he'd let himself see. He wanted to tell Teddy that he should stay away because Sirius wasnt a very good person, and he'd just end up hurting him. Or worse. But he didn't. He didn't, because it would either sound like a rejection or like he was fishing for compliments, and neither of those things were true. He just... He just didn't know anymore.
But this was getting them nowhere.
"I'll take the faith though. I can always use a little more of that."
