Greetings to you all. I am Cassandra Trelawney - yes, that one. I humbly request that those of you searching Diagon Alley tomorrow please keep an eye out for seed packets - vegetables, fruit, herbs, spices. Anything and everything. The newly formed Garden Gang will sort them out later. I'm sure there are some around the castle as well but as much variety as possible will benefit us in the long run.

Thank you for your efforts in advance.

It's easy to lose time in the library so good choice.

Typically though I was hoping we could do something a little bigger than a shed. The dream is to have enough room to grow anything we could ever desire - from the smallest patch of basil to... I don't know, corn stalks and melons? If we wanted to clear out an area for barley or wheat, that could be done outside. Scotland is good land for it.

I realize I keep making this bigger and bigger in my head as if we are the last vestiges of civilization as a whole...

That's a good goal, but we need to start with something we can achieve. Sheds today, more tomorrow.

Perhaps a... long? shed? Sideways, like a sausage. And then we can pull it out along a field as necessary.

That's doable. There are charms to make things bigger on the inside as well, so we don't have to worry too much about what the outside looks like.

I'm aware of those charms - just rubbish at casting them. I tried once and somehow it made things smaller on the inside. No idea what I did wrong.

I'm decent with them. They're all over my manor. I can see why you'd make that mistake though, there isn't a big difference between the enlarging and the shrinking. A syllable and a wrist movement, really. Very easy to mess up.

Once we have the building up, I should like perhaps a lesson in correcting my mistakes - if you don't mind, of course.

Not at all. I'll need your help with all the planting and growing things. I didn't reallynpau attention in herbology

Who could have imagined that we would end up with homework, at Hogwarts, as adults...?

I don't think any of us foresaw any of this. Though I suppose if anyone would have its you. So, what does the tea leaves or whatever say about our garden? I didn't take Divination.

Funnily enough, I didn't See this one coming though I did know that I was going to leave my home.

The tarot might be a better choice but I've not asked. I prefer to remain ignorant and hopeful.

I don't get the chance to be so very often. I may or may not be reveling in it.

I'm sorry about the lateness of the replies, I've been preoccupied, but you don't want to put too much magic in a place were you're growing food. It's not the same as a trunk. This would impact the quality of food. It's why we have four (or is it five?) greenhouses at Hogwarts. We also don't need to worry about space. We definitely have space.

I'm glad someone supports my idea of an utterly massive greenhouse. I'm not expecting the Temperate House, of course. That would be a bit too much.

I think for construction purposes you'd be better off with separate ones instead that one huge one. Like you could have one for strawberries and carrots and whatever, another one for potatoes and other stuff, another one for herbs, and then you rotate them.

I know what I would be better off with. That does not necessarily cross with what I want! But you're in charge of construction. You make the choice.

What do you want? And I might be in charge of construction (am I?) but I don't know how well it works with planting. So you tell me what's best for the plants.

I have faith in you, Peter, but if you don't want that responsibility, you don't have to take it.

You are right, of course, that smaller houses would be beneficial but I've always liked the larger greenhouses. Although, I had a thought just now. What about smaller greenhouses but interconnected by glass tunnels? Like an anthill only more organized. Eventually, the weather will turn nasty as it always does, and having the tunnels between would keep any busy little workers happy and dry.

No, it's just that I don't think anyone wants me in charge of anything.

We can definitely do that. It'll be nice for the winter.

Between you, me and everyone else, since everyone else knows.

There was a war when I'm from. The Dark wizards threatened my Muggle family and I ended up giving them information about a secret organization created by Dumbledore to stop them.

I also betrayed James and led to his death. I did some other stuff but I haven't lived through that yet. The one thing that I know I did was betray them to protect my family.

I see.

Before I form an opinion - did you believe in the cause of these Dark Wizards at all or were your decisions entirely out of fear?

Of course I didn't believe in them. They wanted to kill all Muggles, which would include my family. They hurt my grandmother, made it look like an 'accident', told me next time she wouldn't be so lucky. She has- had no magic. She had no way to protect herself. Neither did the rest of my Mother's family.

Then I continue to offer a position of being in charge of the construction.

People do... unusual things when they are frightened or hurt. They certainly don't think clearly when the world is closing in on them. I cannot offer you 'forgiveness' because you haven't hurt me personally but I can offer you opportunities if you'll accept them.

I admit, I read your cup last night and it did mention trials and tribulation. I expect that is already coming to fruition.

I enjoy your company, Peter. There's a softness about you - a gentility - and a cleverness.

Well, now you're here and those trials have changed. What do you plan to do about it?

We were destined to meet, I think. And who am I to argue with destiny?

Right now, apparently planning a greenhouse. With my friends? We need time.

I would argue about destiny, but we just jumped through time so I'll refrain from making an arse of myself, instead I'll enjoy getting to know you, Cassandra Trelawney.

Could be doing worse things. But we do have all the time in the world now.

Yes, we did though destiny is certainly an abstract concept, isn't it? Getting to know me might involve heated debates about such abstract concepts, Peter Pettigrew.

I'm drawing up an idea for a plan just now though I'm terrible at drawing.
