Thor hesitated. There were still a few of those demons roaming around the outside of the house. They'd attempted to force their way in and found their passage blocked, but they were tough enough that he'd only wounded them when he turned them back. They could possibly hurt this woman.
But the she-creature seemed intent on helping, and really, what was the alternative? If the mother died, who would feed the little one? And it was the little one that the demons wanted. The baby needed to be stronger, so it would not be such easy pickings. A wet nurse was absolutely necessary.
So half a second after being asked, Thor nodded and stepped back to let the woman leave. His eyes tracked her as she left though, to be certain that she'd be left alone. Once he was sure that she was securely on her way, he turned back to the Egyptian.
"Nothing we can do?" he asked in equally quiet tones. Thor wasn't exactly experienced in healing or helping with birthing, but he didn't like the idea of standing by to watch someone die. It just didn't sit well with him. Surely there had to be something that they could try.
