Ninkasi twisted her upper body around to face the man who had finally chosen to say something. How nice of him! She smiled at once, because it was so refreshing for someone to be so formal and polite with her. Bast would have just told her to get her fat ass off the table already. “Oh, that's sweet of you, but no thank you, I'm fine right here. I won't damage your game, swear to Anu. Between you and me, I can't play with him anymore... I have zero patience for those things and Djeheuty is guaranteed to draw it out.”
She chuckled a bit, jewelry jingling around as one hand lifted up to fixed the bits in her hair that were not sitting just right. “And I just don't have time for that. Places to go, people to see, things to do... there's dancing to do, parties to attend... food to eat, beer to drink,” Ninkasi smiled and leaned back on her palms, avoiding the senet board carefully. “You know how it is... you're Greek. Well, maybe not the beer thing. You do the wine thing. That won't get over there easily without water transport or someone being taught to do it properly.” She laughed a bit, rather clearly looking over what she could see.
Attractive, but... a bit stiff -which she was judging purely on his body language in reaction to her sitting there, so in no way interested or her type. Just as well, she was going to be losing a few days with Bast anyway.
“Speaking of... what has Djeheuty been giving you?” Her further arm crossed over the front, twisting her torso more, and reached for his cup. Empty. Boldly, she brought it up to her nose and inhaled a few times. “Oh. This is the old stuff. Yuk.” She rolled her eyes and set it back down. “I'm so glad I'm having my servants destroy what is left of that in his store room. It is sub-standard at this point.” Ninkasi pointed to the pitcher, which she forgot she hadn't had refilled, “you should try that instead.”
