“Tell my father about the donkeys,” Thoth said with a smile, “he would want to know how an old lady such as your self with a sophisticated palate could not a find a way to make it enjoyable.” The smile morphed into a grin and was followed at once by a laugh. “But, I cannot imagine the camels are all that keen on pulling carts with the loss of the donkeys, so, that was a less than ideal loss.”
His priest had already left the room to deal with the food request which meant he'd be off on his own for moment to fetch a chair. Now, while it was well within Thoth's power to just conjure one, there was one in the next room over and it would be lazy to do so when a small amount of walking to accomplish the same thing. If Ninkasi could traverse a desert, he would walk to the next room.
He nodded and stood. A quick nod to Kratos, who looked a little... Thoth wasn't sure if shocked was the right word for it. But definitely not certain what to make of Ninkasi just bursting in. However, in comparison to Bast and Taweret, and to a degree even Sekhmet... and Set... Ninkasi was relatively tame this time. This time. “I'll be just a moment,” he assured, chuckling as he walked away.
