Kratos knew that Djeheuty was right in his assessment, the mortals would bounce back. Eventually. But it would be a rough road to walk to get that point, and he felt bad for their struggles.
Before he could add his opinion to his friend's, however, the sounds from the front of the temple caught his attention, just a moment before he saw Thoth tilt his head to listen as well. So his host knew that something was going on, and he didn't seem terribly concerned. Then again, he probably wouldn't be. He had those rules, which Kratos appreciated, but as fearsome as they were, rules could sometimes be broken. Was it possible that somebody was willing to face the consequences for ignoring the precepts put into place?
Djeheuty set a priest to discover the source of the commotion, but that hardly set Kray's mind at ease. His reply to his friend reflected as much. "You were about to tell me what you think may be going on out there."
