“Everyone has opinions,” he said a bit dryly, and shook his head. “Which is why I mostly don't listen to what anyone says and try to not fuel it. It is also why there's nothing really before that anyone outside a small circle of people know about.”
Loki shrugged and sighed. “I've been married twice. Both times were abysmal failures, but for different reasons.” He grabbed a few blades of grass in his hand and started playing with them. “When I was young and stupid, not long after I ran into Odin for the first time, I married a woman from my own land. It was a rash decision, I'll admit that now, and I stuck it out for just about three years before I just could not stand to deal with her anymore.” He sighed again.
“It was just as well, Odin was trying to get me to go to Asgard anyway.” He was looking down and threw a couple blades of grass aside. “Though, I will say this, the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life was walk away and leave my daughters behind.” He tore another handful and threw it. “They were way too young to understand and Glut had to make it worse by telling them they were never going to see me again. Which was bullshit, I still go when I can... but... all their crying and yelling...”
It had been heartbreaking.
“The problem was, as Thor so succinctly put it recently: my first wife was someone I could only stand to be around in the bedroom and my second was a psychopath...” Which was where Sigyn seemed to have a very glossed over idea of what happened. Very... vague, actually.
