That was not exactly a comfortable question to answer. It was one thing to know that people were talking about you behind your back, quite another to hear the specifics of what was being said. So Sigyn took a moment to consider how to phrase things in the gentlest way she could.
"Well," she began slowly, "besides the fact that you're a womanizer that will charm the skirts off of anything with breasts-- and yes, there are a few stories about some overweight jotun that get a lot of giggles-- there's... a few rumors."
Sigyn looked down for a moment, trying to recall exactly what she'd heard rather than what she'd deduced from what hadn't been said. Her eyes returned to Loki as she continued, "Obviously, because of the children, you were with someone after you left Asgard after the... thing with Sif. Some people say you were with a mortal woman, but most are sure it was a jotun. And there are a lot of people that think that it was a reaction to whatever caused you to do what you did to Sif."
She cleared her throat before adding, "There are too many theories about why that happened for me to summarize. Everybody seems to have their own opinion." Which was true enough, though they generally fell into three different camps of thought. Sigyn wasn't touching that though, because one of those camps said Loki and Sif had been a thing. She wasn't sure how much credence to put in that though, since Thor hadn't killed him, and he didn't seem like he'd forgive that sort of thing.
