The complications involved where pretty much exactly what Loki expected. It didn't make them any less irritating, but at least he knew what he was in for. He assumed Sigyn did as well, since it was a point he had tried to reinforce on more than once occasion. He knew this was going to be a pain to trod around because of the need to be fairly secretive about it for the time being -no need to get Frigg's hackles raised earlier than necessary. Loki also knew that he got dragged off here or there without much warning sometimes, occasionally for weeks or months at a time and the secrecy really left no good way to give notice of that to Sigyn.
So the complication was a huge irritation he he expected it. This wasn't like they were going to try to sneak around for secret nighttime couplings. Daylight made everything more difficult. But, he had to admit, there was a definite added warmth to coming home after having been dragged all over the place and finding small touches to show that she'd been around. It made it seem even a bit more like home, somehow.
Part of him had really been hoping she'd just be there when he got back this time. Especially considering he'd told Thor that she'd cleaned it up while he was gone once, done some more of the painting on other times -he had to talk to someone who was an ally in this. The disappointment at not finding her there when he got home was a bright red waving flag of danger in his face. Dammit, he was going to end up having to marry her at some point, wasn't he?
Well, he was going to at least have to see her and not just the results of her having been around. Loki hadn't been back long, but since no one was dragging him back off right away it was probably time to see if he could make good on his word from the feast. It was also a time where he was actually glad for the loose, gossipy lips of the ladies in Asgard. He didn't have to do much other than pretend to be doing something else and one of which was feeling friendly would start jabbering his ear off about this or that, and another would find them and join in. At which point, normally, he tuned them out because they just fed off each other and all he had to do was nod occasionally. Loki was still only half paying attention, but a vague question here or there to feign interest kept them engaged enough so that if he did actually give a shit about something it didn't look suspicious. It eventually gave him the information he needed -what Sigyn was up to and where she was, he endured a bit longer to avoid suspicion and let his mind wander thinking of what to do with this information.
What he did... was go find her. Then he watched, quietly, for a little while. He found it utterly fascinating, just like he had the first time he ever ran into her. He couldn't resist the urge to tease her, though. “I'm feeling a little overdressed... This is a terrible tradition, you know,” carefully, Loki walked toward her, grinning. “One of us is generally in some degree of undress or naked and nothing fun ever comes from it... in fact, recently... one of us usually ends up wounded.”
