“No, not punched or clawed,” he argued. “Who likes that shit? Sparring can be a good time, can get the blood pumping and spirits up, but all out fighting? I like ‘em willing. Never had a problem finding willing ‘uns.”
Though somehow, Thor had the impression that what he thought of as feisty might still be a bit much for his buddy. Poor guy. He was a bit fragile, it’s why Thor tried to make sure he took the brunt of the fighting when they were out and about. But then, he figured that Loki took the brunt of the thinking, so it worked out even for them both.
“We could go fishing?” he offered lamely. Really, after the idea of being tackled by Valkyries, fishing seemed as lame as it could get. But still, maybe he could talk Loki into fishing on Midgard, and then there’d be a trip to get there. That could have some adventure to it.
