Thor was a bit smug when Loki said it probably wasn’t what had happened, because he could hear that his friend wasn’t certain. And he was going to press his point, when Loki kept talking. Again, Thor blinked. Huh.
Then Loki just left. Just got up and left the room. Huh.
Thor followed him, watching him carefully as he started setting out food. Not that he was about to turn down food, but for somebody that hadn’t been to bed yet and didn’t want to go anywhere, Loki was starting to get pretty active here. There was a basket of things that obviously Loki hadn’t made, and Thor wondered if the Artist Girl, who he was pretty sure was the missing girl too, had made it. Because Loki seemed really happy about jam. It was jam. Who got excited about jam? Huh.
“So,” he said calmly, after his long period of observation. “You know this girl then, huh?”
He was just going to let Loki fill in the details. But any story where you got shot in the ass for a girl was probably a good one. It was the sort of story you could tell your kids someday. Thor grinned at Loki in anticipation. “Tell me about Sigyn.”
