If she was caught with him, then she'd never find another man. Loki didn't understand that he was the only man she wanted. But Sigyn knew if she told him that, he'd argue with her. He was so stubborn. And now he was being stubborn in protecting her reputation.
Loki was protecting her reputation. Sigyn was pretty sure nobody would believe that if she told them. Which she wouldn't. And she wasn't leaving, either. Not now that she knew that he did care about her. Sigyn sat down on the stool he'd so recently vacated, not noticing that the blanket now gaped wide down one side showing all of her leg up past her hip and a healthy amount of her midriff.
