The more Frigg talked, the more convinced Sigyn became that waiting in Loki's room and secretly seducing him was going to be the best option. Because really, what if the note didn't work? Actually, it probably wouldn't. He was being so diligent in avoiding her, a note wouldn't trick him at all. And serving mead at dinner? Sigyn shook her head, and did her best not to make a face.
Serving mead like that, that's what young girls with no parents, no associations, and no prospects did. When they were desperate. Or at least desperate for a man. Sigyn wasn't desperate, she was determined. And she didn't want any man, she wanted a particular man. And that man was not going to let her get close enough to slip anything in his pocket.
But still, she said, “Yes, that's an idea. I will think about some things to try.” Sigyn nodded. “I'm sure that will help. Thank you for your time, Frigg.”
First things first, as soon as she got out of here, she needed to figure out what Loki's schedule was. Was he out adventuring? When would he be back? That would determine just when she needed to lay in wait for him. Literally.
