The blushing was adorable and sweet. Aw, whomever the man was that had caught Sigyn's eye, he was being a fool. She was such a lovely goddess, and endearingly naive in affairs of the heart, that this man was incredibly lucky to have caught her attention. Frigg only wished she knew so that she could lend a hand and give a gentle nudge in the right direction at the benefit of her friend.
“You could do that, yes,” she said, taking a drink and giving this some thought. Obviously Sigyn really didn't want anyone to intercede on her behalf. Alright, Frigg could respect that. But she was trying to come up with an option that did not revolve around Sigyn treading on someone's front door. While she couldn't imagine any of the Aesir being downright rude to Sigyn, if avoidance was the goal... that could just be... well... it wouldn't help things if they refused to open the door, would it?
Frigg looked to her, “but... what if they do not answer your note? Or refuse to open the door for you? Then you are no further ahead of where you are now, are you?” Her fingers began thumbing at a stone around her neck.
“What if...” She had an idea, but she was not sure how Sigyn would interpret it. “Well, not to put emphasis on your current lack of formal duty and obligation dear, you know that, but you could... I don't know,” her free hand circled in the air a few times, “sample things around. Here and there, just like you are looking for interest and a fit. Trying a few different things so it doesn't seem obvious... something is bound to put you into his path.” Then there a wide grin of conspiracy, “even if it is nothing more than dropping a note into a pocket while you help fill mead horns some night.” Some of the girls with more defined parentage might balk at a suggestion, but it wouldn't be out of the realm of plausibility, even if the idea of Sigyn settling for such things long term was not satisfactory. It would help. “It's an idea, at least.”
