Nike saw it, the moment and she readied herself. She'd seen it before and in the moment was sorry for saying things so bluntly as she had but it was how she felt. One's feeling couldn't be good or bad when it was truly how one felt could they? It was more on how others perceived it. Nike also realised that they were just going around and wouldn't agree on this it seemed.
It wasn't what Nike wanted in the least, not at all. Non of them did she believed too.
It was an awkward silence between them after that and Victory didn't want to break that and she they stood there face to face wondering if they should just part and leave it at that. "You think I don't know the sacrifices that were made? That there was and has been so much suffering for all of us."
She sighed, wiping her hand across her cheek and finding wetness there that she didn't know had streaked slowly down. "Don't you see Mother? Yes we are lucky and yes this is paradise that the four of us are in together. But you chose to be alone in this. And all we'd want what we missed is just having you, with us, in our life. We are blessed and have a great deal to be happy but it never feels right because the most important person to us isn't here so share it. To let us how her how proud we are to be her children. To just have her here with us. Because I know that I am very proud to be your daughter."
